Law Enforcement Google Glass APP
#ifihadglass Develop app for law enforcement agencies, traffic controllers, city developers etc. App Name# Precede. It utilizes Google Maps and integrates Live camera feeds of a city to Clear through field of vision to precede and go beyond field of vision and interacts with a handheld to zoom in , zoom out , go around structures and provide live feed. Additionally it can interact with CAD development tools for aiding designers in landscaping projects etc .
#ifihadglass I would create an app for law enforcement that read basic facial responses and gave an index if the person they were speaking to was lying or not.
#ifihadglass I would used them and develop apps to be used in my career as a police officer. I could see these glasses being the future in law enforcement and a primary tool to our job. No doubt in my mind, #ifihadglass has unlimited possibilities in my field.
#ifihadglass I would engage in crowdsourcing for and manage the development of “Eye Detector”, a discrete attachable camera magnifier, eye recognition software and lie detector app for Glass, which magnifies and measures pupil dilation for law enforcement (not as admissible evidence), parents, human resources within companies and other applications.
#ifihadglass I would see that the law enforcement applications for these glasses would be endless. No more he said/she said. Everything would be on first person video. I would love to have these for our department to show this application would be an outstanding addition.
#ifihadglass I would work with law enforcement to help street police. I would create an application that would allow dispatchers to push certain information to the field officer. It would include such things like: suspect photo, charges, warrants, and other important information that wouldn’t normally be available.
#ifihadglass Would integrate Glass into CopTrax.net first-responder video/audio recording system. Presently available as in-car video for law enforcement, Glass’ wearable video/audio capability along with monitor interface would extend functionality to a viable out-of-car recording device. This would greatly expand the system’s safety application to fire, EMS, TSA, etc.
I don’t know if I have the $1500 for the glasses, but as a law enforcement professional I see many possible uses for these glasses. I see them in the future being used as tool to protect Officers and Agencies from liability. These glasses would also help the public to better understand life from a Officers point of view. Once they become mainstream I could see apps being built for real time access of criminal justice networks. Currently computers in police cars are expensive, bulky, and dangerous this could replace them. #ifihadglass
Would be creating new app for more than entertainment use.For example Law Enforcement Use.1. Plate Scan (Ex. While pursuit, prompt ‘Ok Google Scan Plate’2. License Scan (By accessing SOS database for validation.) ‘Scan License’3. Insurance Validation (By accessing insurance company database for validation) ‘Scan Insurance’…Expand this post »
