Google Glass Sensors

“Hi, this is a video of using some sensors in google glass to detect where the user is, using gps and which way they are looking.

You can see as I look about the yard, the readings change.
This is what’s needed in a agmented reality app. For example the app can tell I’m looking at my shed and the shed could be labled “this needs a paintjob” and then when ever I look that way, I see that label. Or you could combine other data and with the other data you could things like yelp search listings when you are looking towards a restaurant that could be cool to go in.”

Lance Nanek wrote a simple app that imports the public abstract class android.app.Activity which gives him access to the SensorManager via the SENSOR_SERVICE constant. Simple but effective.
