#ifihadglass : I would create the Mobee Google Glass app. We are currently building the Android version fro smartphone devices but Google Glass device would be even more terrific!
#ifihadglass I would make awesome Augmented Reality apps! The software company I work for is really into cool gadgets (we develop for iOS and Android.) When I walk in with Glass, they’ll lock a bunch of us in a room and throw money at us until something innovative comes out!
#ifihadglass I’d write an Android app to show any widget from the phone on the Glass display. I’ve already done it on SmartWatches, but on Glass, just imagine… Any widget you want, floating in front of your eyes! How cool would that be?
#ifihadglass I would apply my software engineering expertise to create an app that would automatically capture exciting/traumatic events in people’s lives. It would be configured to use the Gyroscope and Accelerometer on Android. It would tell Glass to take a photo/video if such an event was detected.
Introducing ‘CreditGlass’, the evolution of credit card. The fastest and most convenient way to pay for online or real products using Glass. A QR code identifies the item and glass adds it to your cart. Purchase confirmation goes to the merchant’s android app running on a smartphone/PoS.Only #ifihadglass

#ifihadglass I would write an Android App to talk to the glass and show me my tasks from my todo, my build server’s last build status.
I know that I won’t have the money for Glass if I was chosen, but I could see myself using it for a wide variety of things. It’d be an awesome help while working on projects if I can see the dimensions of an object or get measurements overlays by simply looking at the object in question. It would also be awesome social “assistance”. What if Glass (or your accompanying android phone) had an app that shared…Expand this post »
#ifihadglass I would definitely look to develop app for the glass and port my android app to work with the glass as well. I already have a great workflow working for android will port it to work with glass sdk and will have a great time developing app for it.
#ifihadglass We will combine our Android-based Biometric collection and matching software, fielded in Afghanistan by the U.S. Army, with Google Glass to improve soldier’s real-time situational awareness. Our first demonstration will be a Combat Rescue app using irises to identify unconscious victims and display soldier medical info on Google Glass.
#ifihadglass I would guide #NCSSM students in developing applications and uses for it, especially in education, as we did with the Android ADK & Nexus 7 and Q. See pics from our recent trip to the #googleplex to present these projects.
#ifihadglass I would develop an audio/visual performance that analyzes the GLASS camera view and uses that data in realtime to control the audio composition. Color, form and movement as sound manipulation. Android demo/prototype:
#ifihadglass I would float through a field of flowers represented by Archimedian polyhedra that bloom to the music with colors determined by each semitone. If you would like to test this app on any Android device that has gyros, please visit the website:http://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Animation+for+HeadTracking
#ifihadglass I want to develop an app that communicates via Wifi/Bluetooth, that will allow me to locate my Android phone. Allow the users to take control of the android phone via Glass, turn on the Front/Rear Camera to help detect its location and wipe phone if necessary.
#ifihadglass I would reinvent the classroom. A professor wearing Glass; students taking notes and networked via Android tablets. Questions sent directly to professor via SMS would result in individual instruction to benefit the entire group. No more hands afraid to be raised. Apps sync notes, lectures, exams, capture motion to text.
#ifihadglass I work at UbiComp Lab, Marquette University, WI. I’d work on developing system/application for complex activity recognition, concussion, abnormality which is still challenging problems in autism, rehabilitation and other research area. Right now I am doing it on smartphone (Android and iOS).
As an Android developer, #ifihadglass I build an app for inventory of groceries. When I load them into fridge or cabinet, I glance at the bar-codes. When I trash an empty package, glance again. On driving home I can vocally ask Glass the remaining amount of milk. Or it automatically reminds me of something running out. I should rather do the incoming scan when the things moving on the conveyor belt at the ckeckout to save time and record the place. Glass reminds me next time I’m at the same store. Oh, a better idea has come up to mind, receipt at a glance. OCR captures more precise data.
#ifihadglass, i will test my Augmented Reality android app for climbing indoor and outdoor, suggesting improvements for them, and sharing this experience with the international climbing community

To name just a few: Virtual geo-tag note-taking linked to Google account, incorporate functions from known POI apps, desktop Chrome/browser to Glass HUD transfer, and a sport/recreation HUD.
#ifihadglass I would take them to the shooting range with me. Telling someone how to position a gun in your field of view, line up the sights, and lead the clay target is all well and good, but imagine how well you could show it. or learn it, if you had a first-person view. Call of Duty in the real world? People would be banging down the door! I’d also use one of the many android driving assistance…Expand this post »

As an Android developer, #ifihadglass I build an app to assist learning foreign languages because it’s my hobby. The app picks an object from my sight, figure out its name by Google image search and shows the name in the language I’m learning. Optionally speaks the word. Then I can continue learning words toujours. I hope Google Glass2 could project image on the whole sight of both eyes and overlay 3D objects on my sight. I want an app which shows words as a vast 3D graph by collocation, derivation, conjugation, association, etc. I want to traverse the graph from word to word.
We want to use glass for finding and notifying the existence of nearby friends and lost articles by using bluetooth and wifi direct. We’ve already made an android app for that. #ifihadglass
